JPMorgan Chase has abruptly halted efforts to restore its banking relationship with cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, according to co-founder Tyler Winklevoss. The development marks the latest escalation in tensions between the Wall Street giant and the digital asset platform.

No official reason was given for the freeze, which comes amid increasing regulatory scrutiny of crypto-fiat gateways. The suspension could complicate Gemini's dollar transactions at a time when banking partnerships remain critical for crypto exchanges.
